Suspended gradients deals with exploring systems that are different from one another but are then layered together to create a unified space. The project uses layering of architectural elements, layering of material and color as a way to explore a structural strategy of a vault system for a city centre. This interaction is of two opposing systems of the fixed ceiling and flexible ground that additionally provides layer of spatial difference in the project.
